    Julie Biro is a trained historian. She worked for twenty years with NGOs in Eastern Europe, where her passion for cinema was born. In her first film, Return to Vi\u0161egrad<\/i> (2021), she recounts an attempt to reunite former classmates 25 years after the Bosnian war. In The Silence of Violette<\/i>, the director meets the children of Violette Nozi\u00e8re, who only discovered their mother\u2019s story after her death.<\/p>\n
