Florence and Etienne, a couple in their thirties, set off for the south of France, where her father has hung himself. This suicide does not seem to affect Florence, but then how could she mourn a father she no longer respected? Etienne soon discovers that this trip to her roots will force them to deal with new truths in their relationship.
