Franck dedicates his life to work. Glued to his phone all day and night, he manages cargo ships he has never seen to make sure they arrive on time to all the four corners of the world. For his family, he’s a stranger who leaves early and who comes back late. His only close relationship is with Mathilde, his younger daughter. After a brutal decision which he will have to take upon himself, Franck gets fired. From then on, he begins a deep journey of questioning and soul-searching.

Director’s bio
From Switzerland and South Africa, Antoine Russbach was born in Geneva and lived there until his 20s. He studies Screenplay and Directing in Belgium at the IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion de Louvain-La-Neuve). In 2008, he co-directs “Michel” with Emmanuel Marre. The film is the subject of numerous selections and festival awards, notably in Tehran, Angers, Brussels and Paris. In 2009, he directs “Les Bons Garçons”, his graduation film, in competition in Angers and the international competition in Clermont-Ferrand. “Those Who Work” is his first feature film.
